Horn loudspeaker
The distinctive mark of a horn loudspeakers is the body, the horn corpus. The horn corpus equates to horns, used with mechanical phonograph. By using this unique design, sound waves are supported in their natural diffusion. Beside the horn corpus the driver, whose diaphragm converts electrical impulses into acoustic waves, is the central element. If several ranges (high, central and low tone range) are covered by a single driver, one speaks of a broadband horn loudspeaker.
By these characteristics a horn loudspeaker achieves a singularly original, dynamic sound as well as a high resolution.
