Sonutrion Zephiria
The Sonutrion Zephiria embodies like the Sonutrion Cagua the typical characteristics of a broadband horn loudspeaker. Compared to the Sonutrion Cagua central/high tone unit visible and invisible details have been changed, e.g.:
- Driver: in the Sonutrion Zephiria an aluminum nickel cobalt magnet (Alnico) is used (instead of barium ferrite with the Sonutrion Cagua). Thus the efficiency of the loudspeaker and the characteristics of the Sonutrion horn loudspeakers are improved.
- Back chamber: because of the design of the improved drive unit (10.5 instead of 7,6 cm) modifications at the back chamber are necessary. In order to take up the drive unit, it was extended. A hole in the back chamber with a specific diameter releases the driver.
The revised details contribute to the aim of producing a higher resolved and more dynamic sound experience. The Sonutrion Zephiria becomes there by a horn loudspeaker for absolute HiFi enthusiast, that fulfills requirements on highest level.
Right now, final tests are being finished. A carbon variant of the Sonutrion Zephiria is planned in the future. The inside of the horn corpus will consist of a genuine carbon bowl, where the carbon fabric remains visible.
